Auroraclan

Auroraclan cats are known for their fearless passion for everything they do, from fighting to hunting to raising their kits, their can-do attitude and relentless stubborn tendencies can be both an asset and a defect. They typically have broad shoulders, short but thick coats, and excellent teamwork skills. They are skilled in maneuvering around the thick underbrush and cave network in their territory.

The Auroraclan forest is made up of beautiful elms and oaks and sycamores, a few pines scattered amongst their territory as if they escaped from the boarder with Shadeclan, but majorly covered with thick, green underbrush where a bounty of prey make their homes. From mice to voles to squirrels to birds, Auroraclan territory is a cornucopia for hunters, the Auroraclan cats having mastered the ability to maneuver the thick underbrush and brambles. This landscape provides another advantage as most other clan cats would have trouble escaping the barbs and thorns which hide among the brambles and threaten to tangle in pelts of cats who don't know the land.

Experts in maneuvering through unknown obstacles, it's no wonder that the network of caves found on their territory make up their training grounds, the fox caves used to teach apprentices just what kind of leverage that knowing the land can provide. While they are strong fighters who use their land, their true skill in battle lies in their persistence and passion, Auroraclan cats having a long threshold for pain, taught to strive with willpower.

The fox caves themselves are a misnomer, named as such for their size rather than the occupants, the scariest creature found lurking in the shadows being the occasional snake that pops up from time to time. The caves are good for sunning as well as finding moss and fresh water, the greatest beauty of the territory found directly on the boarder Auroraclan shares with Runnelclan: moon falls.

Moon falls, the most sacred place of the clan cats, is used as a meeting place for the medicine cats every half moon. Behind the waterfall is a series of tunnels, which only the medicine cats knows how to navigate, teaching only their apprentices. When it comes time for a leader to accepted by Starclan, he or she must enter the caves and navigate them alone, guided only by their faith. To meet with Starclan, they must enter the cave of glowing bugs and eat one of them, however this secret it one that is also guarded by the medicine cats.

Auroraclan camp is found among these same caves, the center of their personal labyrinth a small clearing with caves around it which house the dens, protected by brambles that the cats weave into the front. From the top leader's den, covered with a thick layer of moss, the leader holds clan meetings.
